Terms of use
Last updated 4 October 2026
These terms govern your use of bestoffer.org (the "site"), operated by QEIP LLC, an Ohio limited liability company ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Section 14 requires most disputes to be resolved by individual binding arbitration and waives class actions. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, and able to enter a binding contract, to use the site's tools and forms.
2. What the site does
The site offers:
- a free domain appraisal tool that returns two automated price estimates (an "investor" figure and an "end-user" figure), together with AI-assisted research on possible comparable sales, possible end-user companies, keyword data, key factors and risks;
- a daily list of "auction picks" screened from GoDaddy's public inventory of expiring domain auctions;
- guides and an FAQ about domain valuation, buying and selling;
- a contact form and an email newsletter you can join with double opt-in.
The site is free. We do not sell domains, hold auctions, take bids, handle escrow or take payments on the site.
3. Estimates, not offers or appraisals
Every figure the appraisal tool produces is an automated estimate made by formulas and third-party data, adjusted by our own markup, with no human review. It is not an offer by us or anyone else to buy or sell a domain, not a certified or independent appraisal, not a fairness opinion, and not a statement of what any buyer will pay. Two people can reasonably value the same name very differently, and real sale prices are often far above or below any estimate. Do not use an estimate as the sole basis for buying, selling, pricing, borrowing against, insuring, reporting for tax or accounting, or litigating over a domain.
4. No professional advice
Everything on the site is general information for educational purposes only. It is not investment, financial, legal, tax, trademark or brokerage advice, and it creates no adviser, broker, agent, fiduciary or client relationship. Domain names can infringe trademarks: nothing on the site is a trademark clearance, and you are responsible for checking rights before you buy, register, use or sell a name. Speak to a qualified lawyer, accountant or licensed professional before making a decision that matters.
5. AI-generated research and third-party data
Comparable sales, possible end users, search volume, cost-per-click figures, market commentary and confidence scores are produced with the help of an AI model that searches the web, and with data from third-party sources. AI output can be wrong, out of date or invented. Items the tool marks as estimated or unverified may not exist at all. Companies listed as possible end users have not expressed any interest in your domain, and you should not represent that they have. If you contact them, do so lawfully and politely, and do not send unsolicited bulk messages.
Auction picks, prices, bid counts, search figures and end times come from GoDaddy's public feed and change constantly. A pick is a screen, not a recommendation to bid. Check the live listing, the auction's rules and any trademarks yourself before you bid. We are not affiliated with GoDaddy and are not party to any auction.
We may correct, change or remove any content, estimate or pick at any time without notice.
6. Shared results
To limit cost, an appraisal for a domain is cached and may be shown to anyone else who appraises the same domain for a period afterwards. Do not enter a domain you consider confidential, such as an unannounced brand you plan to register.
7. Third-party links and brokers
The site links to sites we do not control, including GoDaddy Auctions, sources cited in research results, and QEIP, a domain brokerage under common management with the site. We are not responsible for third-party content, products, services, prices or policies. Any transaction you enter into with a registrar, marketplace, auction house, broker or buyer is solely between you and them, on their terms. We do not currently earn affiliate commissions from links on the site; if that changes we will say so next to the link.
8. Your submissions
When you use the contact form or newsletter signup, you agree that what you send is accurate, is yours to send, and does not include anyone else's personal information without their permission. You give us permission to use it to respond to you and as described in the privacy policy. Sending a message does not create any client, agency, brokerage or fiduciary relationship and does not oblige us to act on it. Please do not send confidential or sensitive information through the forms.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scrape, harvest or bulk-download estimates, research results or picks, or run the appraisal tool through scripts, bots or automated tools;
- evade, reset or work around the daily appraisal limits, the security check or any other protection;
- interfere with the site, overload it, probe or test its security, or access parts of it not meant for you;
- submit false, abusive or automated form entries, or other people's email addresses;
- use the site or its output to break any law, infringe anyone's rights, or mislead others, for example by presenting an estimate as a certified appraisal or as an offer from us.
Search engines and similar crawlers that respect robots.txt are welcome. We may block access or limit use at any time, without notice, if we believe these terms have been broken.
10. Intellectual property
The site's guides, design, selection and arrangement of picks, appraisal presentation and code are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and other laws. You may use the site for your own purposes, save or print your own appraisal reports, and quote reasonable extracts with a link back. You may not republish the site's content in bulk or build a competing database from it. Domain names, brand names and trademarks shown on the site belong to their owners and are used only to identify them; their appearance implies no endorsement.
Copyright complaints. If you believe material on the site infringes your copyright, send a notice through our contact form identifying the work, the material and where it appears, with your contact details, a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised, and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner. We will review notices promptly and may remove material.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The site, the appraisal tool, its estimates and research, the auction picks and all other content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation, to the fullest extent the law allows. The tool may be unavailable, limited or changed at any time.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we and our affiliates, officers, employees and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or opportunity, including any loss from buying, selling, pricing or bidding on a domain, arising out of or relating to the site or its content, even if told such loss was possible. Our total liability for all claims relating to the site is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (the site is free, so normally nothing) or one hundred US dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
13. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold us and our affiliates harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your breach of these terms, your submissions, your use of the site's output, or your misuse of the site.
14. Disputes, arbitration and class action waiver
Please contact us first; most concerns can be resolved informally within 60 days. If not, any dispute arising out of or relating to the site or these terms will be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies, and either party may ask a court for an injunction over misuse of intellectual property. The arbitrator decides all questions of arbitrability, except the scope and enforceability of the class action waiver, which a court decides.
You and we each waive the right to a jury trial and to bring or take part in any class, collective or representative action. You may opt out of this section within 30 days of first using the site by sending your name and a statement that you opt out of arbitration through our contact form.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York and the Federal Arbitration Act, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to section 14, the state and federal courts in New York County, New York have exclusive jurisdiction.
16. General
We may change these terms by posting a new version with a new date; continued use of the site after that means you accept the change. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours. These terms and the privacy policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the site.
